Welcome to Dominican Convent Higher Secondary School

Dear Parents and Guardians,
April 2, 2025

“Dominican Sisters of Sparkill: Women making a difference”

We are looking forward to starting this journey together, creating a space where our students can shine in their educational, communal, and emotional lives. Your engagement and support mean a lot to us, and we are enthusiastic to work with you in helping our children reach their full potential.

We welcome our new students and their families warmly and open our hearts to you. To those returning, seeing you again as we prepare for another year of learning and exploration is delightful.

As teachers, we are mindful of the changing educational landscape in Pakistan. Our priority is to provide quality education while endorsing strong morals, discipline, and respect for all beliefs and cultures. Faced with challenges like digital advancements, curriculum updates, and the pursuit of comprehensive education, we reaffirm our dedication to preparing students with the necessary skills for success while honouring their values and individualities.

Pope Francis reminds us that “education is not just about knowledge or lessons but about having the ability to communicate in three languages: those of the mind, the heart, and the hands.” Dominican Convent School aims to cultivate this whole approach, motivating our pupils. To think critically, feel deeply, and act meaningfully.

To help with a successful year, please keep the following details in mind:

Summer school hours: 7:15 AM to 12:40 PM for junior students and 7:15 AM to 12:45 PM for senior students.

All students should adhere to the summer uniform policy as outlined.

The parent-teacher meeting for the first term will take place on the result day, June 6, 2025.

Before the summer break, two extracurricular activities, “Green Chemistry” (science) and “Problem Solvers” (math), will be offered.

Easter holidays will be observed from April 18 to April 21.

For any queries, feel free to reach out to the school administration at convent_bwp@yahoo.com.

It is a great joy for us to have you as partners, and we look forward to collaborating with you to provide a supportive and enriching learning experience for your children.

May God’s grace be with us all as we journey together. With best regards,
